Account Manager – Automotive (RS1)
We are working with a global 1st Tier automotive supplier to identify a tenacious Account Manager to manage all commercial activity with UK-based, Japanese OEMs.
The company generate over £4.5b in global sales revenue, so you will be joining an operation which has a proven track record and excellent reputation.
There are four main areas of responsibility:
- Identification of new business opportunities – responding to RFQ’s, determining pricing strategies, etc.
- New project commercial support – management of commercial, pricing and tooling cost activities, etc.
- Account management of current business – first point of contact for customer, continuous development the customer relationship, etc
- Aftermarket – liaising with OEM service part operations, negotiating pricing strategy, future project price creation
You’ll need experience in an automotive OEM customer facing position, ideally commercially biased. Knowledge of Japanese OEM’s and their development cycle would be a benefit, along with any functional knowledge of interior trim systems.
