Assembly Project Engineer (RS1)
Robert Slade (RS1)
This is an opportunity to join one of the top 5 automotive suppliers in the world.
You’re going to be joining the Assembly team as a Project Engineer.
It’s a weld / assembly facility, and you’ll begin your project with the customer’s engineering drawings. You’ll be developing the full engineering and assembly process in the 1st tier facilities. You’ll then manage the process through RFQ, order placement, supplier analysis / management, commissioning and acceptance.
You’ll be involved in the APQP process/activity, so knowledge of FMEA’s, Control Plans, PPAP’s, and SPC’s will all be expected. You will have ownership of the documentation so ideally you’ll have experience developing this from scratch.
You’ll also be responsible for industrialisation calculations such as OEE and cycle times, so you mustn’t be afraid to handle and manipulate data – spreadsheet skills are useful here!
Ideally you’ll have worked for a 1st or 2nd tier BIW facility, with expert knowledge of welding, joining and assembly.
