Automotive Test Engineer (RS1)
Robert Slade (RS1)
You won’t be pidgeon-holed here. We want you to develop.
You’re probably working in an automotive test engineering position right now, but want to develop more skills. More strings to your bow.
You probably want to cover all of the elements – vehicle testing, data analysis, instrumentation, rig design, build and testing – rather than just one or two.
You want more exposure.. And that’s what we want too.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for test rig development and analysis from concept through final report to the customer. You design the test rig, ensure effective set up, collect the data and conduct detailed analysis, before preparing a report and ultimately liaising with the OEM customer.
If that’s not enough, you’ll also receive training to complete your HGV licence to perform vehicle testing on the tracks.
To really succeed, you’ll probably be degree qualified in an engineering / automotive related disciple, and will have around 3 years experience in a test engineering environment. You will need to have previous experience using Solidworks, Siemens NX, or similar design packages.
Please apply now with an up-to-date CV if you would like to be considered for the Test Engineer vacancy.
