Business Manager (RA1)
We are presently looking to recruit a Business Manager for a Midlands based 1st Tier Automotive Supplier.
Ideally, candidates will have a relevant degree qualification, in engineering or business coupled with three years’ experience gained in a manufacturing environment (primarily automotive manufacturing).
The successful candidate will embark on a development plan which will see the successful individual given the opportunity to build a rewarding career in a challenging and fast moving environment, demonstrating sound commercial acumen and negotiation skills and be confident and competent in interpersonal skills, communication and presentations.
Candidates must be passionate, charismatic & a go getter, who will in turn, be responsible for managing key customer accounts and seeking new business opportunities.
The Business Manager will be responsible for all commercial activities across a key automotive OEM, and will also have responsibility for generating quotations as well as engineering changes through the development phase through to launch.
Responsibilities will include:
*Maintain existing business and win new business within a specified Customer area.
*Maximize profitability through negotiation with Customers, Purchasing and Engineering Departments.
*Support Program Management with professional commercial liaison with Customer contacts to ensure all commercial issues are resolved prior to launch
*Grow and maintain successful relationships with customers, decision makers and influencers
