Maintenance Manager (RS1)
Robert Slade (RS1)
Are you bored of making widgets or generally uninspiring products?
It’s a fairly uncommon (nowadays) at least for a manufacturing business to turn raw material into a final product ready for sale to the consumer. So many plants are predominantly assembly driven, and heavily reliant on a supply chain for supply of components. Traditional end-to-end manufacturing isn’t as common as it used to be.
However this is an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a Warwickshire-based manufacturing business. A business that have a cradle-to-grave manufacturing system. They’re products are in homes up and down the UK, and they’re at the top of their respective market in terms of quality and reputation.
As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for a multi-skilled team support plant manufacturing & facilities. Naturally you’ll take lead on machine moves and installations, and you’ll be exposed to a range of manufacturing processes such as CNC, metal fabrication, welding, paint & enamel robotic application lines, and various other processes.
You won’t need to have specific exposure to all these processes – as Maintenance Manager it’s more important that you have a varied background and a dynamic approach to TPM / preventative maintenance is expected. We need you to motivate and drive a safety first approach, and you’ll support the Group HSE manager when it comes to moving plant / equipment and new installations.
You probably have a few years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, and you’ll probably have a NEBOSH General Certificate too.
