Supply Chain Project Coordinator (RS1)
An exciting opportunity has become available within a growing automotive supplier for a Supply Chain Project Coordinator.
You will be working to ensure seamless launch of new programmes into various UK-based OEMs, utilising a range of supply chain skills and techniques, particularly within Materials, Planning, Packaging and Logistics.
You’ll be a go to person on site coordinating the supply chain launch process, and will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have to ensure the process moves forward swiftly yet effectively, and will need to manage expectations along the way. You’ll ensure timely implementaion of BOM’s, set up pre-production and production schedule (internal & external), and will tke the lead on any customer specific processes and infrastructure which need to be implemented.
You’ll need to be confident preparing reports and presentations at times to update various stakeholders on the progress of several programmes.
Long term, you’ll develop a system or ‘check list’ to make sure all participants of the supply chain team are working to the same standards, on every launch.
You probably have at least 5 years experience in supply chain and planning, ideally gained in a 1st or 2nd tier automotive environment, in order to be suitable for this position.
